Musings of a Poet – Guest Post

This article is contributed by my friend and ex-colleague, Prabhakar Bhardwaj. Prabhakar has a rare gift for conjuring up thought-provoking poetry. An IT professional by chance and a poet by choice, Prabhakar knows well how to play with words. His mystical verses have the power to rekindle the long lost fire of passion in the hearts of its readers. His floral poetry can not only arouse one’s deepest emotions, but can also quench those thirsts which otherwise seem unquenchable. Such is his command over his artistry that he can make one go through an entire gamut of emotions in a matter of seconds. His range as a poet is absolutely phenomenal. And the beauty of it is that he prefers to write in his mother tongue: Hindi.

So, without further ado, I present to you the following poetry by Prabhakar Bhardwaj:

I am falling short of words to express my feelings. The meaning of each sentence is just too deep and cannot be explained in words but just felt.

The second poem is flawless and it can be kept among tallest of alter, as it has all the sense of nostalgic musing and the grief of what all we lost during the course of growing old.
